Building at 57 Filonos Street

7644

It is a three-story building with neoclassical-like elements, such as the horizontal bands that adorn the face of the first floor at floor level, as well as the edge of the roof eave. The openings on the first floor are crowned with a curvilinear pediment, which alludes to eclectic influences. The first-floor balcony rests on marble corbels and is framed by cast iron railings. The second floor projects a simpler decorative mood, with openings that have peripheral frames and three small balconies with simplified balustrades, substantiating that the second floor is a later addition. A row of antefixes crowns the end of the roof eave.
