It is a two-story neoclassical building with an elevated basement. Its faces have strong symmetry and display neoclassical features, while the tripartite organization of the faces into base, main body and crown is clearly discernible. The base is decorated with Aktitis stone, where through the architrave beads it resembles an isodomic structure. The vertical edges at the corners of the building are decorated with architrave beads in the plaster. Protruding bands separate the ground floor from the first floor. The openings on the ground floor are surrounded by frames, while on the first floor the frames are crowned with a projecting cornice, reinforced with supporting beams. An elongated triple balcony with marble corbels and balustrades of spiral pattern adorns the face of the building on Praxitelous Street, while two smaller ones are located on Bouboulinas Street. Elongated bands with decorative elements of dentils and supporting beams form the edge of the building. In the period of the dictatorship, it housed the first cultural center of Piraeus under the title “Stoa”. The Stoa included a bookstore and a lecture hall. After its restoration, the building houses the offices of educational programs of the Aikaterini Laskaridis foundation.
