Building on 84 Ave. Ir. Polytechniou

It is a two-story building with morphological elements that combine influences from both late Neoclassicism and Eclecticism. A commercial store is located on the ground floor. A very distinctive feature is the neoclassical roof that shades its facade. On the first floor there is a double balcony, with an elaborate metal railing, supported by corbels. The first-floor openings are flanked by frames, they feature a projecting banded cornice decorated with curvilinear floral spiral motifs, and they bear wooden French shutters. An elongated projecting cornice traverses the entire facade, while the format of the parapet on the roof is quite interesting, where small piers alternate with balustrades.
